New digital assistance services in the City of Brussels

The Community Centres of the City of Brussels are organising new permanent digital assistance services thanks to the support of the European ERDF programme 2021-2027. The aim is clear: to reduce digital inequality and make it easier for everyone to use the essential everyday tools, whether for administrative procedures, communication or access to online services. https://efro.brussels/

Between 2025 and 2029, three priority target groups will receive free support: young people aged 18 to 30 who are supported by the OCMW, women and senior citizens who visit the community centres (however, anyone can make use of the guidance.) Community centre facilitators and trainers from the digi referent service are there to help you. They provide guidance through individual consultation hours, practical workshops or training modules, spread across six community centres and two digital spaces. You can learn how to send emails, surf the internet, use online services or even develop more advanced skills. And all this in a pleasant environment adapted to your level. The OCMW is also supported by the ERDF fund and offers specific guidance for the digital inclusion of students and young job seekers who are supported by the OCMW. If you are interested, talk to your social worker or integration officer. Or send an email to feder@cpasbxl.brussels for more information or to receive the newsletter.

This is the fastest and most secure solution for identifying yourself with all your public services (taxes, pensions, healthcare, MyBXL, etc.). Simple help, in your neighbourhood, to make your digital life easier every day. More information: https://www.brussel.be/hoe-itsmer-gebruiken
