The role of digital assistants in reducing digital inequalities
Do you help someone to read their email, fill in an online form, manage a smartphone or deal with administrative formalities?
Sweco is working on a European research project funded by the @ESPON programme, exploring the role of informal digital helpers in everyday life in the City of Brussels and Bordeaux.
Share your experience in this questionnaire - it only takes a few minutes, and it can really make a difference.
Have you ever helped friends, family, colleagues, etc. to cope with digital technology? Did you know that this is the case for 75% of the population? A helping hand with logging on, creating an account, signing a document, designing a simple website, installing an app, etc.? There are as many ways to help as there are situations, and by providing this service, you are helping to reduce the digital divide.
To better ‘help you to help’, and to put in place appropriate policies, Sweco is seeking to understand these situations of assistance. If you live in the City of Brussels and have 10 minutes to answer the questionnaire, it's here: https://bit.ly/3FDMmk1 (in French or Dutch)
If you're in a hurry, you can simply republish.
Thank you for your help.
