Give a Day volunteering platform
Building a virtuous society is everyone's business. Give a Day connects citizens with the needs and projects of organisations to facilitate citizen action and solidarity.
Thanks to the call for projects, back in 2020 Give a Day developed the Giveaday.be/brussels platform (trilingual). It was set up to make it easier for Brussels residents to get involved in the city's associations and community projects.

Give a Day organised workshops and meetings (online, during lockdown) with Brussels’ associations. The winner also came up with a volunteer management tool to simplify digitalisation and organisation processes for the associations (99% of associations are not legally in order). By the end of the first year of the project, 247 associations had registered with the site and published 512 volunteer advertisements, while 1577 volunteers had signed up.
The aim of Give a Day is now to make all their new tools available to Brussels’ organisations (and City services) to help them digitise, so that they can be better organised and encourage even more citizens to get involved. By the end of 2023, Give a Day will have created a community of over 5000 Brussels residents.
Give a Day has a major social impact on fostering an intelligent and happy society in Brussels.
