Brucity, the new administrative centre of the City of Brussels
Brucity, the new Administrative Centre of the City of Brussels, opened its doors on Monday 12 December 2022. Residents can now go to Rue des Halles 4 - 1000 Brussels. The City is moving to better serve its citizens with simplified services, a better and more efficient reception, and extensive digitalisation to make services more autonomous and accessible.

Ecology being one of the City's major concerns, real thought was given to this new building. The energy performance of the building is passive according to the standards in force in the Brussels-Capital Region (PEB 2016). The building is, among other things, equipped with photovoltaic solar panels, a cogeneration system, full LED lighting and a rainwater recovery system which supplies the toilets.
